Repeating last year’s success, Valamar Dubrovnik President 5* and Valamar Isabella Island Resort 4*/5*, as well as the entire Valamar Hotels & Resorts group, have again won multiple Luxury Hotel Awards for the best hotels in the world, reports Poslovni.hr on December 6, 2017.
Hotel Valamar Dubrovnik President 5* was named the winner of two awards: as the best luxury beach resort in Croatia and the best luxury romantic hotel in Croatia. Valamar Isabella Island Resort 4*/5* was presented with the award as the best luxury island resort and the best luxury family hotel in Croatia.
The Valamar Hotels & Resorts group has won three awards: Luxury Collection Group 2017, Luxury Management Group 2017, and Luxury Brand 2017.
The awards are particularly prestigious because, in the hotel competition, in addition to tourism industry professional, guests can also vote. This year, there were as many as 300,000 guests who took the opportunity to take part in the voting process.
At the presentation ceremony, the Hotel Valamar Dubrovnik President manager Matko Marić commented on the success. “It is my pleasure to be able to receive these prestigious awards on behalf of Hotel Valamar Dubrovnik President. To win the awards among such high-quality competition for two years in a row is a confirmation of the year-round work and efforts of all our employees who, with special care and love, make our hotel the best in the country each and every day.”
